おじちゃんは中学生の頃からジャズを聴いていた。マンションに住むようになってあまり聴かなくなったが、それでもipodのようなものにはジャズが入っている。
ボーカルはそんなにではないが、それでもいくつか好きなものがある。今日はなんかこのー"These foolish things"(ほんのささいな事)が気になり書いてみた。おじちゃんも訳してみたが、拙いので、それよりもっと素敵な訳が載っていたので失敬した。
フランク・シナトラはじめビリー・ホリディほかたくさんの人が歌っているが、初めに聴いたトニー・ベネットのをおじちゃんは聴いている。
